Permalinks in JSTOR

JSTOR provides permalinks to content via stable URLs.

When copying a permalink, be sure it contains dickinson.idm.oclc.org, the Dickinson proxy information.  Links with the proxy URL will provide seamless off-campus access for Dickinson users.

Detailed instructions are provided below.

Link to a Specific Article, Book, or Chapter

You can link to a specific journal article, book, or book chapter by using the Remote Access URL provided by JSTOR. To do so:

  1. Find the article or chapter that you want to use.
  2. Click on the article or chapter title to open the full text view.
  3. Find the Remote Access URL. It includes the Dickinson proxy information (dickinson.idm.oclc.org), which will provide seamless off-campus access for Dickinson users.
  4. Copy and paste this link. This is your permalink.

This image shows the data visible on the full text view pages for a book chapter, with the Remote Access URL highlighted.
