Together for Justice: MLK / Social Justice Week 2025

Getting Started

In recognizing that the Civil Rights Movement and the need for its creation, while historic, is not so distant from present day, this guide attempts to bridge the gap between past and modern activism. We celebrate the 39th Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the initial dream by not only creating dreams of our own but learning not from one man, but from the ever-growing movement on how to create sustainable progress. Here you will find the tools and narratives from different perspectives, decades and media sources, all relating back to the demand for freedom from oppression.

Rage Writing

Rage, the intense feeling of uncontrollable anger, can be a powerful emotion to harness for the sake of social change. Come along and write about and through that emotion (and any other ones you might be experiencing), and channel them into letters written to your elected officials.
