Sheltering in the Library
In the event of a weather emergency that requires patrons and employees to take shelter, a circulation desk supervisor will make an announcement alerting everyone to find shelter immediately. The map below uses red stars designate the appropriate locations to take shelter in the event of a weather emergency. These locations are the Archives, Library Classroom 1, and Library Classroom 2, all located on the lower level of the library.
In the event of an intruder/assailant in the building, refer to the advice on the college's active intruder/assailant page.
Things to remember:
- Seek shelter immediately when instructed to by emergency or library personnel.
- Avoid sheltering near glass.
- Remain sheltered until official notice that the emergency has passed.
