Printing & Technology at Waidner-Spahr Library: Scanning

This guide provides basic instructions on how to use technology available in Waidner Spahr Library, including Toshiba services (printing, scanning, copying), and media:scape tables.

Scanning Function on Library Printers

Scanning Basics

Library printers have multi-function capabilities including scanning.

Open the top of the printer and position the document in alignment with the white arrow located on the top left corner of the glass.

User your ID to login into printer.
Press the Home Button (house picture) to access the Scan function.

Select scanning to Email to have the receive the files via email
Your Dickinson address will be the default destination.

Select the scan button. If scanning multiple pages continue to touch the scan button.
When scanning is complete select 'Job Finish'.

Scanning Display

You can also insert a flash-drive on the USB port to save the file in it.
For that functionality, select 'USB' and follow the same procedure described above.
