Reserving Spaces in the Library: Classroom Spaces

Reserving Classrooms for Your Class

To reserve any library classroom you must first receive prior approval by emailing circ@dickinson.edu. Please include the course title, number of students, and desired location in your email. If your request is approved, the library will contact CASE on your behalf. 

Library Classroom 2, Archives Classroom, May Morris Classroom, and Data and Scientific Reasoning Lab can be reserved but only if other library spaces are unavailable or unsuitable for the class or event. 

Please, do not hesitate to address questions about the technology in classrooms to User Services via email (helpdesk@dickinson.edu), telephone (ext.1000), or by visiting the User Services office, in the lower level of the Library. If you need immediate help with the technology in a classroom, please call the Helpdesk at ext.1000. 

Students Reserving Classroom Space

To reserve a library classroom for study groups larger than 8 you must first receive prior authorization from Campus Life. Send the Campus Life confirmation of approval by emailing circ@dickinson.edu. Please include in your email the purpose of the reservation, the total number of people who will be participating, and desired location in your email. If your request is approved, the library will contact CASE on your behalf.
