Presentation Posters: Home

Information and resources on creating and designing posters for conferences and presentations.

General Information

A poster is a presentation tool. Be prepared to have a 3-5 minute answer to someone approaching you without having read the poster and saying: "So, tell me about your research."

You should also think carefully about how you use text on your poster. Minimize as much as possible as readers want to be able to quickly look at your poster and determine if it is relevant to their interests.

This page includes resources for poster design. But one of the best things you can do is get feedback from others on your poster.  Feel free to make an appointment to discuss.  You can be at any stage-- just starting your poster and struggling on where to start, or if you have a full draft that you want feed back!
