Presentation Posters: Templates

Information and resources on creating and designing posters for conferences and presentations.

Templates

Below are links to different templates. Keep in mind that these are general templates and not necessarily suited to specific assignments or conferences which may require including specific sections or adhering to specific size requirements.

Traditional 3-column Poster Design

Templates for horizontal and vertical posters. Slight variations putting an emphasis on the results sections.

Better Poster

Using design principles, the Better Poster emphasizes using straight-forward language and puts the major finding at the center of the poster. The poster is intended to be treated as a presentation tool, and is not designed to stand alone. However, variations can always be made!

The Butter Poster

The designer of this poster aimed to take the lessons from the Better Poster but to make a poster that could stand alone and incorporate more detail.

Dickinson Branding

If you want to add Dickinson branding to your poster you can use the College wordmark.

For links to the wordmark and information about the College's practices on displaying that branding can be found here.
