Directions to Dickinson College
Dickinson College is easily accessible from Rt. 81 or the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The GPS address and directions from various parts of Pennsylvania can be found on Dickinson's Maps & Directions page.
The conference will be held in the Stafford Auditorium of the Rector Science Building, which is #17 on the campus map. The main entrance is on Louther St.
Parking is available on Louther St., in a lot directly across the street from Rector (which is behind the Waidner-Spahr Library), and in a lot behind Rector accessible from Louther St. You may park in the campus lots. Dickinson's Department of Public Safety is aware of the conference and will not be issuing tickets in lots normally restricted to faculty and staff.
Comfort Suites Downtown Carlisle
The Comfort Suites in Carlisle is the closest hotel to campus and is within easy walking distance.
The hotel is offering workshop attendees a rate of $106 per night for those who register before April 23. Be sure to mention this event and ask for the "university rate."
The workshop sponsors are pleased to offer partial reimbursement for those who will have a long commute and wish to stay at the hotel. Grant funds of $750 will be divided equally among confirmed guests who submit receipts by June 3, 2016. Original copies of receipts (no scans or photocopies) must be submitted to:
