Locating Sequence and Mapping Information
- National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)This site functions as a portal for a number of different databases/resources pertaining to biomedical and genomic information. While some of these databases focus on the scholarly literature (such as PubMed, mentioned above) many of them are instead tools to help you with tasks such as locating information on a particular DNA sequence or searching an organism's complete genome.
