Lower Level Access Restrictions

A portion of the East Wing of the Library Lower Level is unavaialble due to restoration work taking place in the building over the summer.  The following collections are unavailable at this time:

  • Print music scores
  • Print journals
  • Microfilm and Microfiche

See below for alternative access options.

Other spaces that are temporarily unavailable include:

  • East stairwell to the lower level: please use the West stairwell (near the Biblio) to access the lower level.
  • Study rooms 9, 10, 12 and 13
  • Lower-level printer/scanner
  • Restrooms

Alternative Access Options

For alternative access to materials during the restoration work, please consider these options:

  • Music scores found in print collection: Request access via Interlibrary Loan
  • Journal articles found in print collection: Request access via ILLiad.
  • Microfilm and microfiche: You may request microfilm/microfiche through Interlibrary Loan. Those requesting film and fiche can use the micro-scanner which has been temporarily relocated to a small table in the information commons computer area.
