Librarians will conduct information literacy sessions virtually, and can offer other forms of research assistance by email, phone, or video. Options for instruction include:
- Teaching information literacy sessions via Teams, Zoom, or Skype.
- Creating worksheets, handouts, and assignments that help students learn research skills.
- Helping you upload Information Literacy Tutorials to Moodle, with or without grading options.

Using Moodle for Course Materials
- See our Moodle Best Practices page before posting material.
- Be sure to use stable links to link directly to library resources, including articles, e-books/chapters, and videos. Simply copying the URL from your browser's address field will usually not work, but many databases and other e-resources have functions for creating and sharing stable URLs or "permalinks." See Linking to Library Resources for more information.
- Consider posting only the citations to online materials available through the library. This will save you time and allow students to practice research basics. Students can learn how to access library materials by watching our brief tutorials at: https://libguides.dickinson.edu/tutorials.
- Contact your librarian if you have trouble posting library material to Moodle.
