Library Building & Services Updates for late Summer, Fall 2021: Alumni, Retirees, & Visitors Information

Courtesy and Alumni Borrowers

Access to the library building is available to current students, faculty, staff, emeritus, retirees and alumni with Dickinson ID card required.  Access to the library has been suspended for all other visitors including Courtesy Borrowers at this time.  Alumni and others who are officially auditing online courses have access to online library resources using the Dickinson credentials provided when they registered for the class.  Please visit the website of your local public library for their available services. 

Due dates for items checked out to Borrowers have been extended.  Fines have been suspended.  Books can be returned using the book drop to the left of the library's main entrance.  If you do not live locally and you want to return your checkouts, you can return items by mail to:  Dickinson College Library, 28 N. College St., Carlisle, PA 17013, Attention: Circulation Desk.

Public Library Services

Anyone living in Carlisle or Cumberland County, PA (on or off campus) has access to the rich resources of the public Cumberland County Library system including print, electronic and audio books, streaming films and DVDs.   Bosler Memorial Library is located on High Street adjacent to the Dickinson campus.  See the Cumberland County Library System website to obtain a library card.
